Welcome to the
Tech Leaders' Resource Center! This web site was created to provide
a virtual learning environment to provide technology training opportunities
teachers who serve as Tech Leaders in the schools in the Tuscaloosa
City School System. The Tech Leaders serve as a first line of defense
for troubleshooting simple hardware and software problems and promote
the use of technology and its integration into the curriculum in their
schools.
The Tech Leaders'
Resource Center contains the following components:
- Tech
Bulletins - The Tech Bulletins section provides postings
of current news and information for the Tech Leaders that is posted
by the school system's tech support staff.
- Tutorials
- The Tutorials section contains various technology tutorials
to present in-depth technology troubleshooting tutorials, quick
fixes tutorials and troubleshooting checklists for various technology-related
topics.
- Short
Courses - The Short Courses section offers technology troubleshooting-related
online courses that provide opportunities for in-depth exploration
of specific topics.
- Resources
- The Resources section contains links for sites that contain information
related to tech support and technology integration.
- Message
Board - The Message Board provides a means of online communication
for the Tech Leaders from the Tuscaloosa City Schools. Only these
Tech Leaders and the system tech support staff have access to this
message board.
- Search/Index
- The Search/Index feature supplies users with a search feature,
an index, and a glossary of terms used in the Tech Leaders' Resource
Center.
